New resolution for Higher Education through TCAS 66

New format

The central selection system for candidates ready for higher Education or TCAS 66 has adjusted the teaching from GAT to TGAT and from PAT to TPAT. This training and education are required for the students who wish to take up robotic, automation, or aerospace engineering. There are a few guidelines, like the students must pass the high school examination or must be in the final year of high school. The adjustment in the exam is made to reduce the duplication and stress of the application of the knowledge learned. This would be a computer-based examination. The medium will be both English and Thai.

Aim of adjustment

The Royal Thai Air Force will announce the new format of the exam for the students for clear guidelines. It must be noted the changes are made keeping in mind the future requirements for the aviation industry. The trend in the aviation industry demands skill-based Education with competence building. Hence, the aim is to put additional focus on training people by not only imparting more knowledge on aviation or aeronautics engineering but by developing them so that they are able to organize activities and projects. Thorough knowledge of actual practice, learning, and possession of the skills will be the main aim of the adjustment.
